Arco Basso

In the spaces of Old Bari, arches occupy a place of honor because they represent a variety of forms adapted to the particular architectural context.

The Arco Basso, which leads to the “Strada delle Orecchiette”, is entirely made of stone and, inside, houses a votive shrine on a blue background that recalls the color of the veil of the Virgin Mary.

Via Arco Basso is now a milestone in our culture, which has also become a film set for the latest advertising campaign for Dolce & Gabbana, in which even the most famous fresh pasta hand makers (who live and make it right here) are the stars.
