The relics in the Basilica of Saint Nicholas

The chapel of the relics of the Basilica of Saint Nicholas is dedicated to St. Peter and St. Paul. Created after the construction of the Museum collects most of the precious objects of the Treasure of St. Nicholas except the relics. In the chapel are preserved numerous relics from the period of the Crusades and others donated by Charles II of Anjou, particularly devoted to St. Nicholas.

The remains of St. Nicholas rest instead in the crypt, the underground church that is located at the presbytery and transept.
